Bournemouth + Spring Style

SPRING

I’m so happy that Spring is here (even through its my third favourite season). Mostly because I love fresh seasonal flowers and as you can see above so does Muffin. I haven’t written in a while due to my work schedule however am lucky to now be working freelance for some of my week so have a couple of extra hours to spend writing this blog.

I spent last weekend in Bournemouth for a friend’s hen do which, as you can expect, was raucous, eye-opening and fun. Before leaving on Sunday I took a couple of hours to walk along the beautiful coastline, coffee in hand, and really started to feel that Spring had arrived. It was a gorgeous area and had me pining for the Cornish coasts I grew up on.

What I’m wearing:

Dressing in the mid-seasons is always a bit awkward; I like to opt for layers. My off-duty look is mostly jeans, oversized tee and in this weather some form of knitwear (you can get lots of great cashmere pieces in the sales). One of my most recent purchases are these gorgeous light grey trainers and they have totally changed my life! Walking to work and running around during the day couldn’t be comfier, I’d definitely recommend investing in a pair. Comfort and practicality is my mantra whilst attempting to remain stylish. A little while ago my husband bought me this leather jacket, it goes with everything and is a great throw on and go piece. Similarly you can never go wrong with Chanel eyeshadow. I recently dyed my hair and have found the palette below the most complimentary to the new ginger do’!
