Long time no post – sorry about that. Here’s a little piece I wrote for 1883 digital. To go to the original article click here. To be taken to the Chanel website click on the images and to check out the 1883 website click here!
The highly anticipated Coco Noir fragrance by Chanel is the yang to Coco by Chanel’s ying. Skilfully created by Jacques Polge, Chanel’s in house master perfumer, the scent will take you on an oriental journey with seductive rose and geranium notes. A Luxurious black-as-night bottle is the perfect vessel for such an enchanting fragrance.
This new iconic scent accompanies an equally enchanting fall 2012 make up collection. Eye shadow has been reinterpreted, with the ‘Ombre Essentielle’ range of shadows created by Chanel’s Peter Philips as the collection’s centrepiece for fall. Containing two new technologies, colour is intensified and a smooth matte result created thanks to new compacting methods. Soft peaches and sheer golds work alongside pale grey hues and intensely pigmented black. This high impact eye shadow collection is available as either a single rectangular case or as a set of four essential shades.
The complexion is luminous with slicks of tonal beige on the cheekbones. For lips ‘Rouge coco’ and ‘Rouge coco shine’ have autumn’s smile veiled in light creamy formula and nearly natural tones. Le Vernis nail lacquers have gone ultra-bold this season with ‘Vertigo’ the deepest of blacks, ‘Suspicious’ a high impact fuchsia and my favourite ‘Frenzy’ a lilac, dove grey.
The Chanel fall 2012 make up collection is available to buy from Friday 24th August nationwide.
